I too took Home Economics in high school as well and learned the basics of sewing. Mind you that was 53 years ago!
This year I had a lot going on in my life, so the time for making my own suit just wasn't there. One of my goals is to tackle the task in the spring time so that I have plenty of time to get it the way I want. Your tutorials help to motivate me into trying this and other things myself.
